Back in the day of AOL journals I was a lurker.... I keep up with a couple of blogs I found back then and now try to write daily. It's cathartic. I'll have to check out Martha's link up.

Peace!Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11530080925040791624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6978857.post-23731330895259190932011-06-01T08:12:05.680-07:002011-06-01T08:12:05.680-07:00Hey Kat, long time no read.

I mean how many times can you tell people you're having coffee and granola for breakfast or oh goodie the squirrels are back. Another day same squirrels.JACKIEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11883028058826030899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6978857.post-31298446915365746472011-05-31T08:49:34.733-07:002011-05-31T08:49:34.733-07:00Facebook and other social media have taken over th...Facebook and other social media have taken over the "community" aspect that we once shared at AOL-J. And, of course, they OVERdo it...so it just doesn't appeal to me.

I have five or six faithful friends from aol who still read my blog and comment, and for whom I reciprocate. No one writes as much as they used to, but we still keep up with each other. I think the best way to re-invigorate the community is just to put yourself out there. Just...write. Sometimes it's hard, when what's going on in your life seems too huge to splatter on a page. That's when I turn to little inspirations...like the weather or my pets, or my garden or a piece of music. It's all good.

I know you read and comment at Coming To Terms, Kat. It warms my heart to know you're still out there after all these years. But I sure wish you could post a line or two now and then... Miss You! :)Lisa :-]https://www.blogger.com/profile/02237889098638895390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6978857.post-38512211883633255172011-05-30T22:29:43.116-07:002011-05-30T22:29:43.116-07:00Sounds like fun and like you, I've really miss...Sounds like fun and like you, I've really missed the connection we had at AOL Journals. I'll go check out the cocktail party and play along.

And like you, it's been an overwhelming year for us - in many ways. It would be nice to focus on some of the positive in our lives. And there has been some of that too - if just gets buried with all the muck.Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12840809036588436520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6978857.post-25378200975629083292011-05-30T13:23:21.529-07:002011-05-30T13:23:21.529-07:00Welcome to the party Kat!Welcome to the party Kat!threesidesofcrazyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03680623585443980958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6978857.post-76198642209621331882011-05-30T11:14:57.609-07:002011-05-30T11:14:57.609-07:00Thanks so much for stopping back over to link up K...Thanks so much for stopping back over to link up Kat. It's so good to see a post here.
