I had a short but vivid dream last night.

I rarely remember dreams, and as far as I can recall....I've only dreamed about my dad once since he died 7 years ago.

But last night, I dreamed that I was in an unfamiliar house. It was a nice place, very comfortable. But I have no idea who's home it was supposed to be. And I KNEW that my dad was there. I remember walking into a room and anticipating that dad would be there, and a moment later he came around the corner. He looked just great. He saw me right away and smiled as he started across the room with his arms extended towards me. He wrapped me up in a great big "Don hug"!!!

And then...I woke up.

Is it a coincidence that he was here for me on Meg's birthday?

Dreams are so interesting... I'm not sure what it means when we have such vivid dreams, so real with so much meaning. I would like to think, yes, your dad was there for you on Meg's birthday. Sounds very comforting. It's also got to be a comfort that she is not alone, her dad and son are with her. Thinking of you.

no...I think our dad's always know when we need them.

Mine still comes for me Kat and he has been gone for 25 years.

Our minds while we sleep have always been a mystery to me.
That was a comforting feeling to wake with...

Kat, I`m glad your Dad visited you on your sister`s birthday. It had to be a difficult day for you.

I am glad for you.... I often have those dreams where the setting is unknown to me, but I understand what it is meant to be. Dreams fascinate me.

Be well today. judi

I beleive-he was absolutely there for you on Meg's birthday! I have dreams about my Mom all the time! It is those departed way of visiting with us. Meg will come too eventually-sometimes they need time first to adjust in their new place and don't want to freak you out too much.
